Kyneton Family Selection Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Tasting Notes: Our Family Selection Extra Virgin Olive Oil is quite a robust and intense oil. It has a 'grassy' or 'green tomato' aroma with an intense bitterness and prolonged 'pepperness'.

Our Family Selection Extra Virgin Olive Oil is processed from exclusively selected olives to deliver a superior quality product for use in specialty dishes. This process is an effort  we undertake as a family. We discuss which oils should be blended with which, and if necessary we re-blend. The oil is sampled and re-sampled until the blend is considered by all of us to be the best in texture, quality and most of all taste.

The Family Selection Extra Virgin Olive Oil is for the astute Olive Oil connoisseur, and is distinguished by the above gold seal.

Tasting Notes: Our Nonna’s Crushed Olives, Whole Green Olives and Whole Black Olives are processed in exactly the same way that Grandmother used to.  The traditional process we use today goes back for many generations and ensures the flavour and texture remains pure and consistent.

Nonna's Tapanade

Tasting Notes: Nonna’s Tapanade is a tasty olive paste you can use to add flavour to Focaccia, crispy bread or pizza as a snack or stir through with some pasta.

We do not add too many other ingredients to our Tapanade but prefer to keep it simple so that the fresh olive taste is not overpowered.
